Dr.Yogesh Babu Thunga, a resident of Piler town, was honored with the prestigious Nandi Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to fine arts, journalism, mass communication, and teaching & research. This accolade was bestowed upon him during the 4th-anniversary celebrations of the Abhilasha Helping Hands Organization at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. The event served as a platform to felicitate 60 individuals who have demonstrated excellence in various fields. Dr. Yogesh Babu Thunga’s exemplary work in these areas has also been acknowledged through accolades such as the International Royal Golden Assembly Fellow Member (USA & India), Royal Golden Fellow of Subramanian Iyer Excellence Award, and the Indo-Middle East Education Excellence Award. Notably, the Nandi Award was presented to Dr. Tunga by eminent personalities including senior film actress Poornima Ratnam, film producers Rama Satyanarayana and Kapil Dev, renowned astrologer Daivagna Sharma, founder of Rudramadevi Self-Defense Academy Lakshmi Pampyram, and others. His achievement was celebrated and lauded by his relatives, friends, well-wishers, and local leaders, reflecting the impact of his remarkable contributions.
