A momentous occasion unfolded at Gyarampalle, Andhra Pradesh Residential School (APRS) as it celebrated its Ruby Jubilee, marking four decades of academic excellence, growth, and cherished memories. The event saw the participation of alumni from 38 batches, spanning across various states, including America, Australia, Singapore etc.Shri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy, Advisor (Education), Government of Andhra Pradesh, graced the event as the chief guest. In his address, Mr. Reddy expressed pride in the achievements of Gyarampalle,AP Residential School alumni, emphasizing their success at the highest levels. He assured attention to concerns raised, particularly highlighting issues related to the Phase-1 “Nadu Nadu” works, pledging the government’s focus on resolving them for the school’s development.The celebration unfolded with the unveiling of an alumni reunion and networking pylon, along with a statue commemorating the school’s founder, Late Reddeppa.Four committees were formed as part of the Alumni Association for the school’s development.The governing council, headed by Ramesh Verala as chairperson and Mohan Reddy as co-chairperson.Executive committee formed Ravindra as President, Rajasekhar Reddy as Vice President, Udayabhanu Reddy as Secretary, Vinod Kumar as Joint Secretary, and Praveen as Treasurer.A Members Committee, representing 38 batches, was established to actively contribute to the school’s progress.The program honored 70 former teachers with traditional pattu pancha and pattu cheera, evoking nostalgia among the alumni as they reminisced about their cherished moments in the school.The successful execution of the program, led by event Convenor Mohan Reddy and Co-Convenor Haribabu Singam,* witnessed the enthusiastic participation of *School Principal Bramhaji, Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College Principal M.Chennakesavulu, APRS ex. Principal Suresh, Retired, and former principals NV Ramana and C. Obaiah. Over a thousand former students and 70 former faculty members actively engaged in the celebration.
