Jaanam News, Piler, November 29: On November 29, a Job Mela (job fair) was organized at the Sanjay Gandhi Government Degree College campus in Piler, under the auspices of the Jawahar Knowledge Center. The event was inaugurated by the college’s principal, Dr. M.Sudhakar Reddy, who emphasized the institution’s commitment to providing students with a high standard of education and ample employment opportunities. He encouraged students to make the most of such opportunities.During the fair, two companies, Hetero Pharma Company and Naik Agros Company, actively participated in the recruitment process. This allowed the participating students to not only gain exposure but also receive potential job offers. Out of the 50 students from the college who took part, 11 students were selected for employment by these companies.
The college’s Vice Principal, Sivarami Reddy, and representatives from the Jawahar Knowledge Center, including Dr. Rajini, were present alongside faculty members and students during the program. It is worth mentioning that the event aimed to not only provide immediate job placements for students but also emphasized the importance of developing employability skills throughout their three-year degree program. By focusing on enhancing these skills, students can increase their chances of securing attractive job offers with competitive salaries from esteemed companies.
